To Whom It May Concern I entered into a contract with Saphire in December 2019. I was promised in the meeting in front of the whole room full of potential customers, I asked can I use this in Texas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and other places in Texas. He said yes of course since you already pay taxes in Vegas you don't pay taxes there. I called and the person at Saphire said, no you have to stay in the one in Austin, and that's outside the city. I broke my leg Jan 18, 2020. I called to see if they could help me by not paying my dues and monthly payment. They said no. I told them I am unemployed and have a broken leg, they said we don't care. I tried to get out of the contract, and they said no I could not. I called a business that works with this kind of things. They were going to charge me more to get out of it than I owed. Plus the payment was coming out of a credit card and I could stop that payment. I have closed out my credit card and will no longer pay. If they want to sue me, I will argue I was misled. I always get a "no".

We've been with Sapphire for almost 2 years and have yet to take advantage of our $6,000 investment. All we ever get when we call up is a "no". We received an e-mail for a $149, 4 day/3 night stay. I didn't read the fine print at the bottom, so when I called, I found out it was for new members. So why was it sent to me, when I'm already a member? I was then referred to another number which offered the same deal at $198. Still, a good deal, but we had to attend a 2 hour "Education Session" or the deal was off. We have already attended this meeting. That's how I was suckered into this terrible timeshare in the first place. We can't use our bonus points until 30 days prior to our stay, but each time we do that we've received a " no, I'm sorry that Hotel is booked. I wish they had a program so disgruntled members can get out of their contract. But that doesn't seem likely. I did inquire about using a service to cancel my membership, but that was going to cost $4 to $5,000. lt's starting seem like that's not a bad idea.

We jusr signed a contract, but luckily we got back to our hotel and started reading these complaints, we spent 100 dollars to feto ups our cancellation to Vegas within the ten day cancellation period, they are scamers for sure

In my continuing saga with Sapphire, on Christmas Eve '19, we received a call from a collection agency about an outstanding balance. We checked our records and had already paid the $276.80 membership fee, which was cashed on 12/23/19 and yet we still got a call.

When we inquired about this we were told we owed another $69. That amount was for an "optional" program Sapphire is pushing. Since we didn't request the option, so we did not pay it. We did clear this up w/them, who told us they were behind and the call went out prematurely.

To date we still haven't gone on any vacation with them and have pretty much resigned to just paying the fee. It's cheaper than getting a lawyer.

Looking for successful cancellation, anybody??

Purchased in 2018. Promised all sorts of goodies - like cruise, free air travel and others. Hard to reach them to schedule, nothing available and nothing free. Taxes on a cheap 7 day cruise were higher than beautiful 14 day cruises we have taken. Has anyone successful cancelled their contract? I am 71 and still 42 year years left on contract.

SCAM and Misrepresentation

We were recently in Las Vegas and was bribed on a daily basis from various people to attend a time share presentation. We spent 20.00 for an Uber ride was promised all kinds of gifts 100.00 slot play that could only be played on promotional games and you must hit the jackpot of sizzling triple sevens to collect any money which was 100.00 if you won. The machine would not allow you to stop playing it. My boyfriend was on water pill and they wouldn't show him a bathroom or our way out of the place Do not recommend at all. They start at 9,000and drop it to 2,500 to buy. Do not buy

Scammers

Representatives for Sapphire Resorts chased us down for the weekend till they finally convinced by Boyfriend to buy it. They were fast to collect cash that day. We never used it once. Maintenance fees are a joke. We pay for them to have nice vacations and hotels. That is not right. I will not recommend this Resort to any friends or family.

My family has owned at Jockey club for over 30 years. Heres why you shouldnt do it: 1. Maintenance fees and taxes keep rising. 2. Anytime you try to book time, they will tell you they are sold out. Trust me. They oversell these timeshares to the point that we cant even use them anymore. 3. Youll never been able to get rid of it, you will literally have to pay someone to take your timeshare from you. 4. During a timeshare presentation Matt Riggs, a sapphire employee deliberately assaulted me, which resulted in me having to call Las Vegas Metro Police Departments. Do not buy from Jockey or Sapphire or you will regret it.

That is not right.

If consumers don't want to buy it, there's no need to chase them down to get money. Don't do it.

Worst timeshare/vacation membership I've ever owned

They never have RCI exchange inventory. Limited Sapphire regions/resorts. Haven't been able to book anything using my credits yet. No discount or breaks on maintenance fees during Covid-19 travel lockdown.style=" Don't bother buying this for any travel you are planning on actually getting to go on. Bad company.

Scam!!!

In Vegas April 2021 and stupidly agreed to listen to a timeshare for some perks. Nothing we received was what promised. Everything they promise is a lie. Thankfully we said no and are only out our time.

The $120 TruCash (www.trucash.com) gift card I was given by Sapphire Resorts as reward for spending two hours of my time at a timeshare presentation was denied in 3 grocery stores, one warehouse store, and one online shopping at Macy's. FOUR calls to TruCash customer service resulted in a promise it would work if I tried again - DECLINED EACH TIME!

This timeshare is a complete ripoff hopefully people check it out before signing up don't waste your money these people will take all the money they can get out of you and in return you get nothing they all should be locked up for what they are doing a total scam run the other way.

Disappointing experience

Our first attempt to reserve a resort, FAILED after all the thousands of dollars we have given they could NOT secure a room for us, we wanted a specific city in NM, but our cost would have been $599.00 NO DISCOUNT THERE ! We actually found a place on our own with a better discount. We are VERY disappointed with the service, could not reach anyone to help for 2 days. Furthermore, we have a total of 25000 pts. Would have taken all the points with just the one stay. Our experience has not been a pleasant one and we are not sure how we want to approach this problem, we also had signed an additional contract, but as soon as we signed the new contract we never heard again from our contact person, she even claimed we got a gift after we sighed and never heard BACK! It is very disappointing! Hope in the near future we don't have this problem again because we will seek professional help .

No Phone calls answered AUTO deductions for payments made.

I have tried to contact them too many times no answer!!!! They continue to deduct payments, several each month and I cannot get assistance to explain charges. I have not been able to book reservations either.

call me to resolve issues

This is a rip off.

I didn't even want this Timeshare or any timeshare because I knew that they put you into debt. Never got to use it because of Covid 19 but we are still being billed for maintenance and other unnecessary billing . If someone knows how to sell a timeshare after being chased down and ripped off, please share information.

Not Perfect but still Good

After spending high amounts for various hotel stays, we risked buying into Sapphire Resorts. The promise of lower expenses was a major factor in our purchase decision. I calculated we only had to vacation 1 week every two years to break even. Then the pandemic hit and Sapphire membership became a major benefit. The ability to cook our own meals instead of dining out became one of the major reasons we could travel safely. Booking is difficult as it cannot be done on-line because of our choice of a "High Demand" resort. Early Booking (60 days) seems to be a norm in their reservation system. Calling in, requires multiple calls as they seem to be too busy to return calls, possibly a result of the pandemic. Learning the "ropes" of booking was very difficult for me. The Resort location we stayed at, was remote to the attraction, but still attractive to us. Our stay there in 2020 was great, and we have a reservation at the same Resort this spring and will probably make more 2021 reservations. We were outraged that we were charged for an optional annual membership upgrade without our consent, but we were quickly refunded. I realize that Sapphire memberships are not good for everyone, for instance, they have very few resorts in the Midwest; but it is beneficial to us.

Sent this company an email and also left a message asking to call me., because you will never have anyone answer the phone except for billing to make a payment they answer right away... so disappointing stay away from this company it's a SCAM!!!!
