Deceptive Sales Tactics and Zero Customer Support

On 01/09/2023, I called Sapphire Resorts to dispute a bill sent to collections. I was disputing the bill because Sapphire had already taken the amount from my banking account without my permission. I was on hold for 45 minutes. Someone finally answered and asked for my phone number. Then I heard him saying "Hello," "Hello"? The call was then dropped. There is always a wait when calling Sapphire, and I've had dropped calls more than once. This leads me to believe that it isn't accidental. I then called Equiant, the collection agency used by Sapphire, to explain that the bill had been paid in December. I was told there would be a 114-minute wait but that I could pay online. I went to their website, and their certificate was expired, so I didn't continue onto the site.

Preferred solution: I want Sapphire to cancel the debt collection and to insure that my credit has not been affected.

The sales clerk had my husband sign my name because I walked out & said no! I just found the contract & yea not my signature! To top that off my husband is in stage 4 colon cancer & can not even travel anymore. I would like my money back please!

Why am I getting a bill for a past due with late charges when we have paid everything? We haven't even used it after 4 years because nothing is EVER available on where we want to go. Not even on RCI as the salesman promised. I don't even really want this timeshare anymore which is why I KNOW it's paid because I get angry every time I pay it!!!

Sapphire resorts , formerly Geo Holidays is worthless! Membership maintenance fees paid every year but unable to book one of their supposedly beautiful resorts!

Can not log in excessive wait on phone, pay maintenance fees and rarely use services as theyre rarely available. Nothing more than con artist selling time shares. You cant go Anywhere, Any time ! If I always wanted to use *** hotels Id never bought into this. Very deceptive selling!

They lied about everything asked us to sign papers saying to show we sat in on speech then said we can have trial deal it was oct then said we had to pay for the year in dec and new year starting jab and we never did anything but sit in a meeting and no trips ever and they want thousands

Yearly Fee

Couldnt get their website to take off the grey card $69.00 fee they add on the optional fee even if you dont want it. There are the worse timeshare company. Please run away from them while on the Vegas strip.

Notify people so they don’t get scammed.

Sapphire resorts is a total scam. I find it hard to believe they could get away with the deception and lies that they feed people and steal their money. Stay away!!!

Misrepresented sale of resort package

We were told we would receive 33000 credits every three years but not told they expire after the first year!DO NOT not purchase this package! They don't return calls , miss scheduled calls. I do not want to pay them and annual fee that is worthless. Please do not believe what they tell you at your presentation!!

We never received a bill for maintenance fees and first we hear of it is when a debt collection agency contacts us. When I explained that to Sapphire they basically accuse me of not guessing when to pay. Talked to a manager(female) who told to write wharever I want and let the world know that I have a debt.

We went to a presentation in Branson because we were promised discounts on show tickets. The presentation was ok actually sparked our interest. When we asked at the end for info to take with us to make a decision the salesman called in a "closer". He was rude to a level that was unreal. At one point actually scolding me for picking up my phone. Telling me I was rude because I had agreed to a 1 1/2 hrs presentation. We were 2 hrs into the presentation when I picked up my phone. And I picked up the phone to see if they had a resort in an area we often travel to since the "closer" couldn't provide an answer. Pay full price for your tickets and avoid the headache of this scam

We went to the presentation yesterday but it just sounded too good to be true. The offer started at about 10,000 and went down to 2,500, we still turned it down. If it’s too good to be true it’s not true, is our rule.

TIMESHARE FRAUD

This place doesnt even deserve to be on the map. They on purpose withhold their cancelation policy, and flat out lie. I tried to cancel the timeshare within 10 of my purchase to only find out in the sealed envelope they gave me with the free trip voucher also included the cancelation policy stating it must be canceled in 3 days. I called constantly for a month trying to speak to someone and never received a called back. It's now been 11 months, no correspondence or call back, but I did get a collection's notice in the mail. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Sales manager was disrespectful,aggressive,unprofessional very rude.

Me and my wife went to the presentation for sapphire resorts. The presentation itself was great until we got to the manager. The manager overstepped his personal boundaries with us cursing and pursuing us aggressively.He was very unprofessional and we would never do this again.

Just sick about this

Bought in in Nov 2021, paid $10,000 and was told we would have access to everything...had an appt to speak with a representative today to go over and review everything and she said oh you are only in the triennial plan, you only get points every third you, you can only take one week for three years...yet they want us to pay the membership dues and fees...I don't think so, I just want a way out...are there any class action suits against them? We were pushed into this, didn't have an opportunity to thoroughly think it through and haven't even had one vacation with it...I am just sick!

Same here. The RCI credit card we got at the same time to join is paid off and I’m thinking about contacting Barclays and closing the account and taking the hit on my credit report.

I cant believe all the negative reviews on this company! I have been a member for 11 years and use the *** out of it! Never a problem booking. I have been to 3 countries and all over the USA. Either people dont know how to use this or they are just unhappy. I would and have recommended sapphire to all my family and most of them have used it! Gilbert Martinez

Are you interested in purchasing my membership of 5,000 credits (Biennial odd years only). You pay the $350.00 transfer fee and take over the additional maintenance fess and I will give you my membership for $1. We just have not been able to use it!

I didnt even rate them cause there were no minus stars available! They lie to you in every way! This is truly organized crime! They told us our fees would be $250 a year and we could go anywhere we want. Fast forward a couple years and our fees are $684 and climbing so fast I could puke! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! They tell you.. Its and investment..LIE Fees are $250 a year.LIE Availability anywhere anytimeLIE You can easily sell it.LIE Sapphires timeshares are on sale on eBay and Craigslist for $1 and are sitting for months and or years cause no one wants them!! Look it up!! Please please please do your research AND NEVER SIGN UP!!!

There is no possible way your dues went up over $400 in a few years. If it started at $250 then you are a 5k annual member, which is $292.30 for 2022 annual dues. Anything past that would be late fees, or an additional $69 for the GrayCard
